Persimmon Homes aimed to elevate the design of the ensuite bathrooms in their new development at Spring Meadows. The focus was on providing a contemporary, yet functional, tiling solution that would complement the overall aesthetic of the homes. The project called for a mix of fully tiled and half-tiled walls, with the use of portrait and brickbond effects to create visual interest.

Tile Style Lancashire Ltd worked closely with Persimmon Homes to ensure that every detail of the tiling met their high standards.

Key Features of the Project:

Material Selection: The walls were tiled with Melrose 245×75 tiles, supplied by Johnsons. These high-quality tiles were chosen for their sleek, modern appearance and durability, making them ideal for the ensuite’s wet areas.

Tiling Design: The cubicle was fully tiled, while the sanitary wall was half-tiled to create a balanced, cohesive look. The tiles were installed in two different effects: portrait for an elongated visual effect, and brickbond for a more textured, traditional style. The combination added depth and character to the space.

Finishing Touches: To complete the installation, white grout was used to enhance the clean and crisp look of the tiles. Additionally, white plastic trim was applied to cover the exposed edges, ensuring a polished and seamless finish that not only looked good but also protected the tiles from potential damage over time.
